Admission to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is determined by an Admissions Committee. Decisions are based upon the school’s ability to meet the applicant’s needs, the teacher recommendation, the student’s academic record, transcripts and test scores.
To apply for admission to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy the following must be completed. Applications are not considered complete until the Academy receives the following forms. There are two ways to submit an application for admission to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy. You may:
- Contact MBCA by telephone at 770-971-0245 or by e-mail at jackie.grasty@mtbethel.org and request an admission packet; or
- Print the application and mail the completed form to MBCA.
CHECKLIST FOR COMPLETED APPLICATION FILES
To Be Completed/Received Before Registration Deadline:
- Application for Admission with photograph attached
- Payment of non-refundable application fee ($85.00)
- Teacher recommendation form/forms (to be completed by teacher/s and mailed/faxed directly to the Academy)
- Transcript of academic records, test scores and report cards from Kindergarten through the most recent grading period
- Copy of the student’s certified birth certificate
- Authorization to release information given to current school
- Satisfactory score on SSAT (see General Information and www.SSAT.org for further information)
- Parent interview - Grades 6 through 8 only (you will be notified of the day and time of the interview once the application has been received in the Academy Office)
- Student interview - Grades 6 through 8 only (you will be notified of the day and time of the interview once the application has been received in the Academy Office)
- Financial Aid application (if applicable, see https://sss.ets.org/index.jsp or contact Admission Office)
To Be Received After Final Acceptance:
- Payment of non-refundable tuition deposit ($1,000.00)
- Enrollment Contract
- Completed Georgia Department of Human Resources School Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231)
- Completed Georgia Department of Human Resources School Certificate of Ear, Eye and Dental Examinations (Form 3300)
All medical forms are available through your previous school, private practitioner or local health clinic.
