Library

Our library supports and enhances the curriculum of Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in so many ways.
Junior Kindergarten through 1st grade are scheduled to visit the Library twice weekly, and 2nd through 4th-grade visits once weekly to hear a story showcasing a variety of genres of literature and check out new reading material. We also teach instruction on the use of the library for research and special projects.

The library collection consists of more than 17,000 books which are catalogued online. Additionally, MBCA has subscribed to several online databases to enhance the study and research efforts of our students. Throughout the year, the Library welcomes published authors to campus to host workshops and to share their works and experiences with our students.

The library conducts an annual Book Fair and the proceeds benefit the continual expansion of our library to meet the needs of our students and teachers. Often, Canine Assistants volunteers visit with service dogs, giving students an opportunity to practice reading out loud.

Parents have the opportunity to volunteer in the Library and are an essential part of our success of the Book Fair and smooth day-to-day operations. As always, our main goal in the Library is to encourage students to become life-long readers. We believe if you can read, you can do anything!
