Studio Art 6

Students in this beginning level art class will be introduced to a variety of art materials, creative processes, and vocabulary.

Students will begin learning fundamental drawing and design skills used in fine art. We will discuss and apply the 7 Elements of Art and the 7 Principles of Design to create compositions. The body of work produced in this class will include drawing, painting, printmaking, 3-dimensional art, and mixed media collage. Students will complete approximately 8-10 projects for the year.
