Drawing (9th-12th Grades)

Drawing Studio is an introductory-level course that follows Introduction to Art and delves deeper into developing drawing skills and techniques. (Prerequisite: Intro to Art)
The purpose of this course is to establish a strong foundation in drawing techniques such as figure, landscape, still-life, and design. Students explore various drawing media, including graphite, charcoal, ink, pastel, and printmaking. Through this course, students demonstrate the ability to create a successful composition, value scales, use of space, directional forces, perspective, and proportion.
