Parent Council

Every parent of an existing student is automatically a member of the Parent Council. As the primary educators of our children, parental involvement in school activities is strongly encouraged; helping to make them successful is a shared responsibility for us all.

The Parent Council works to support the Academy by:

  • Promoting unity, cooperation, and involvement within the Mt. Bethel family.
  • Fostering open and accurate communication between parents and the school.
  • Sponsoring events that promote community, and raise funds for our school to enrich our children’s experience beyond the school’s operating budget.

Regardless of the amount of time, talent or treasure you have to give - there is a place for you to become involved in the life of your school through Parent Council. Whether as a member of the Parent Council Board, a committee chairperson, or a classroom volunteer, our school succeeds when parents are involved.

Parent Council Board

Members of the Parent Council Board are elected from the school community and, for the most part, serve one year terms. Nominations are solicited in the spring of each year with the new Board being seated on or about April 1. Members of the 2017-2018 Board are as follows:
