Lower School

At Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, our teachers lead with love. Every member of our Lower School team is dedicated to loving and nurturing young children to help prepare them for a life of significance, while equipping them with a solid academic foundation. Our experienced faculty instructs and engages through a Christian worldview, guiding young students through a challenging curriculum that will set them up for academic success at every level.

Our halls are filled with happy, motivated children who love being here. In our busy classrooms, on our noisy playground, in our friendly cafeteria, and in chapel services, the authentic affection we have for one another and the blessings of God are visible at every turn. Through their grade-level community outreach projects, our students learn the joy of giving and doing for others. Our goal is to plant seeds daily in the hearts of our students, seeds that root deeply and soar to amazing heights. Your children will flourish in an environment where they are loved, known, and challenged.

Whether it’s learning and using cursive, memorizing Scripture, creating and innovating in our STEM class known as Think Tank, or reading a book for a novel study, our students are engaged in their learning. Hands-on activities like writing a devotional book for the children of Camp Hope in fifth grade, building lemonade stands and selling lemonade to benefit the grade-level mission project in third grade, or hatching live chicks in second grade create experiences the students will remember for years to come.

As parents, you are your children's first teacher, and you will remain their most important one. We are committed to partnering with parents in preparing children for the challenges of life. We invite Lower School parents onto our campus, and it is a privilege for us to include you in these special moments.

We welcome the opportunity to meet with you in person and show you what God is doing in the Lower School at MBCA. In the meantime, we invite you to learn more about our curriculum and faculty through our website.
