  • Welcome to the Lower School

At Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, we strive to provide students with a learning experience in a Christ-centered environment that aligns with their family's values and an educational program that challenges and guides them toward a lifelong love and desire for learning. With a robust and meaningful mission and a dedicated faculty, MBCA students thrive in an environment that promotes personal growth in all areas of life.
In the MBCA Lower School, we prioritize creating a strong sense of belonging within a loving community that fosters meaningful relationships. Our safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment ensures students feel supported in exploring and enhancing their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities. Parents at MBCA can trust the school-home partnership, knowing that the Lower School team wholeheartedly cares for each student.

Junior Kindergarten through 5th-grade students engage in dynamic learning daily. With the guidance of loving, professional teachers, students develop essential skills like creativity, problem-solving, communication, and initiative. Whether participating in collaborative STEM activities, discussing life applications of scripture, diving into novel studies, or honing research skills, our students are encouraged to reach new heights in their learning and personal growth.

While working through a robust academic program, students deepen their understanding of Christ's teachings, learn to live according to biblical principles, and begin to develop a biblical worldview. Time is set aside for daily devotions and Bible classes. In addition, the Lower School has chapel each week, where students and teachers worship and explore scripture together.

A notable aspect of the Lower School experience at MBCA is the leadership opportunities offered to students. Many of our students demonstrate citizenship and service by managing the morning broadcast as part of the News Crew, organizing fundraisers, participating in community service projects, and serving as members of the Student Safety Patrol.

As the interim Lower School Head at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, I am honored to share the MBCA mission with you and invite your family to learn more about our MBCA community. Partnering with parents in nurturing young hearts and minds is a privilege, honor, and blessing.
