Whether you are looking for a positive, safe, and Christ-centered environment aligned with your family’s values, or you are simply looking for a quality educational program that will partner with you in setting your child on the path to long-term success and well-being, our program is your best option. MBCA families do not have to choose between quality education or a Christ-centered environment. Under a powerful mission of purpose and significance, supported by a passionate faculty dedicated to partnering with families, MBCA students experience both.
As part of the MBCA Lower School, our students experience a deep sense of belonging as they engage in meaningful relationships and a loving community. Within the context of a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment, students are known, celebrated, and encouraged as they explore and grow their God-given gifts and abilities. MBCA parents enjoy confidence in the school-home partnership, knowing that every member of our Lower School team is wholeheartedly devoted to loving and serving each student.
On a daily basis, students in Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade are instructed and engaged in dynamic learning supported by our holistic curricular program taught through a biblical worldview. With the support of specialized teachers, students develop critical skills such as creativity, investigation, problem-solving, communication, and initiative. Whether it is through a collaborative innovation as part of STEM classes known as Think Tank, memorizing scripture with discussion about life applications, expanding comprehension skills during a novel study, or developing research skills during library, our students are inspired towards high levels of learning and growth.
Through the context of a high-quality academic program, students grow in their understanding of Christ’s truth as they learn and practice how to live in God’s world, God’s way, under God’s word throughout all subjects and activities. Additionally, time is set aside to share daily devotions and bible classes. Each week, we have the privilege of gathering as a Lower School family to worship in chapel through music and exploring scripture with the purpose of growing in our understanding of who God is and what that means for daily living.
Another distinctive trait that marks the Lower School experience is the leadership demonstrated by our students. Visible even amongst the youngest of our students, our children exercise citizenship and service. It is absolutely impressive to watch the confidence and skill employed by our students as they manage the morning broadcast as anchors, technical directors, and camera persons of the Lower School News Crew. From running a lemonade state to raising funds for the grade-level mission project, taking on more chores to support the school-wide outreach project, and volunteering for 5th Grade Student Safety patrol, our students thrive as innovative problem solvers making an impact on the community around them.
As the newly appointed Lower School Principal at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, I couldn’t be more excited to share our program with you and your family. It is my joy to invite you to join our MBCA family where we count it a blessing to partner with parents in shaping hearts and minds.
