  • We're Glad You're Here

This is a truly special place - you can see it in the joyful faces of the students, feel it in the camaraderie among our stellar teachers and staff, and celebrate it with families as their children learn, grow, and go on to successful college and life experiences.  But even more notably, it is what draws all of us together that makes MBCA so unique. Our mission unifies us under a common purpose: “academic excellence, spiritual growth, and a lifelong love and desire for learning” are not just words in our mission statement; they represent the purpose that informs everything we do.  We understand that God created us as whole people – intellectual, spiritual, physical, social – so we intentionally integrate biblical truth with a high-quality academic program while fostering a joy in learning that will stay with our students for the rest of their lives.

Academic Excellence: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy provides a high caliber of education for our students, engaging them intellectually and challenging them to become the best they can be.  This is done in a caring and supportive environment where every student is known personally and given the tools to succeed.  We prepare our students with skills that are essential in today’s world, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

Spiritual Growth:  A Christ-centered education begins in chapel services and Bible classes and weaves its way through each experience with an integration of faith and learning in every class, activity, and co-curricular program.  Education is more than getting good grades, getting into a top university, or finding a good career.  For an educational experience to be meaningful, it must prepare students for matters of both earthly and eternal significance through a relationship with Christ.

Lifelong love and desire for learning: Faculty members care deeply about their students and pour into their development, and these relationships foster student growth. An active, creative experience instills the joy of learning in each student while developing a lifelong eagerness for more.

It is the purposeful significance of this mission that drew me to Mt. Bethel, and it is our passionate and talented faculty and staff who bring that alive that renews my commitment to it every day.  If you are already a part of MBCA, you know how much we value you as a part of our community, and if you are considering MBCA, please come for a visit and see us in action yourself.  Thank you for your interest in Mt. Bethel Christian Academy!

Blessings,
Dr. Jim Cianca

  • US 101 - Rescheduled Sep 5th

We have an important update regarding our upcoming US 101 – Upper School & Beyond event. Originally planned for this Friday, the day before the long weekend, we’ve received feedback that many of you may be traveling and unable to attend.

In an effort to respect your time and give all of our families the opportunity to participate, we are rescheduling US 101 to take place as part of our Upper School Open House on Friday, September 5. Rather than holding two separate events on different dates, we have decided that integrating Upper School 101 with our Open House will allow us to be mindful of your time while still providing the most comprehensive picture of the Upper School journey. This will allow you to hear directly from our high school students and recent graduates, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the Upper School experience and beyond.

We will be sending additional details soon regarding the Open House schedule and how US 101 will be included in the itinerary. For now, we encourage you to mark 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 on your calendar. If you already plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link, and additional details will follow in another email. We look forward to seeing you there!
