  • Welcome to the Middle School

A child’s middle school years are among the most fascinating, challenging, and rewarding.
At Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, our Middle School faculty are deeply invested in the lives of their students and understand clearly how best to lead them through this period of tremendous personal and academic growth. The Middle School is characterized by a culture of inclusion and respect. Faculty set high expectations for academic achievement and personal conduct and come alongside students to model that behavior. Our faculty invest the time necessary to know each child well so that they may guide them personally, academically, and spiritually from a position of authentic relationship.

As well as we know our students, we understand that parents know their children best. And at MBCA we count it a privilege to partner with parents to help students learn to think clearly and carefully, with discernment and understanding. As parents, we want to know that our children will grow in independence and be prepared for each phase of growth. At MBCA, we meet that challenge by equipping our students to reason persuasively and articulate themselves with precision and confidence so that when they enter our Upper School, they will be able to reliably evaluate all truth through a decidedly Christian worldview.

If you would like to experience the difference a Mt. Bethel Christian Academy education can make in the life of your middle schooler, I would be delighted to speak with you. Until then, I encourage you to browse the Middle School, Class Trips, and Athletics pages of our website to begin to experience the MBCA difference.

Blessings,

Chelsea Shaver

Middle School Principal

  • US 101 - Rescheduled Sep 5th

We have an important update regarding our upcoming US 101 – Upper School & Beyond event. Originally planned for this Friday, the day before the long weekend, we’ve received feedback that many of you may be traveling and unable to attend.

In an effort to respect your time and give all of our families the opportunity to participate, we are rescheduling US 101 to take place as part of our Upper School Open House on Friday, September 5. Rather than holding two separate events on different dates, we have decided that integrating Upper School 101 with our Open House will allow us to be mindful of your time while still providing the most comprehensive picture of the Upper School journey. This will allow you to hear directly from our high school students and recent graduates, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the Upper School experience and beyond.

We will be sending additional details soon regarding the Open House schedule and how US 101 will be included in the itinerary. For now, we encourage you to mark 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 on your calendar. If you already plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link, and additional details will follow in another email. We look forward to seeing you there!
