  • Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

MBCA offers students countless opportunities to explore historical, cultural, and educational venues.
Lower School: Experiential education comes to life through local and long distance field trips affording all students the opportunity to reach beyond the confines of the classroom. The learning experience is enriched through visits to the Center for Puppetry Arts, Atlanta Zoo, State Capitol, Cobb County Safety Village, Tellus Science Museum, Art Barn, Chattahoochee Nature Center, Georgia Aquarium, and Rock Eagle (5th Grade).

Middle School: Capstone trips are an integral part of the Middle School culture, helping bring to life our school’s mission to provide academic excellence, spiritual growth, and a lifelong love and desire for learning. In short, they are at the heart of the Middle School experience here at MBCA. Through these opportunities, our students get to interact in new environments, reinforce academic and spiritual goals, and experience the benefits of traveling with their classmates and teachers. Capstone trips are a reflection of our passion to grow students’ knowledge, relationships, and spirituality, and the development of each grade level trip contributes to the overall three-year journey.

In order to make these trips possible, we partner with Joshua Expeditions (JE). JE is a reputable, non-profit Christian organization founded for the purpose of assisting schools and churches in bringing the world to young people and bringing the Gospel to the world. They have been providing high quality, Christ-centered student educational travel for almost three decades to groups from all over the country with outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Upper School: MBCA's international educational trips and mission trips align with our mission to provide a Christ-centered education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and servant leadership. These experiences allow students to engage with diverse cultures, deepen their Biblical worldview, and apply faith through hands-on learning. By stepping beyond the classroom, students cultivate critical thinking, leadership, and compassion.

  • Educational

The Upper School is excited to offer a four-year educational travel plan. Students can participate in international and domestic trips, as well as a special 2029 Inauguration Tour. Rooted in our mission to provide a Christ-centered education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and servant leadership, these trips offer students immersive experiences that deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives.

Trip pricing is based on a minimum of 12 travelers, with at least two adult chaperones. If fewer than 12 travelers register, costs will increase. Pricing includes travel insurance, pre-tipping, and exclusive rooming for MBCA participants. Groups must commit six months in advance, and students are required to attend at least three preparation meetings before departure. Trips occur during Fall or Spring Break, except for the 2029 Inauguration Tour. From historical explorations to cultural immersions, these experiences align with our goal of shaping students into thoughtful, globally-minded Christians prepared to impact the world for Christ.
  • Mission

The Upper School offers an annual Winter Break mission trip to Puerto Rico. Our partnership with a local church began in 2014, the first year of our Upper School. Through this trip, students serve communities that have faced the devastating impact of multiple hurricanes over the past decade. This experience allows students to live out their faith through service, strengthening their understanding of compassion, resilience, and the importance of global Christian outreach.
