A Love Story that Began at MBCA
A love story that began in 1999 at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in first grade. They became boyfriend and girlfriend in Middle School and went on to the University of Georgia where they began dating again. After graduation, MBCA alumni Hannah-Kate Gosch ('08) headed to DC for an internship and MBCA alumni Brennan Kelly ('08) began his career in finance in Atlanta. A long-distance relationship ensued while Hannah-Kate finished law school at Vanderbilt University. Reunited in Atlanta after law school, Brennan proposed to Hannah-Kate and a wedding was in the making. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Brennan Kelly who became husband and wife on 8.28.21. A fairytale romance that began at MBCA!
Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
Madison Gant ('21)
Congratulations to Alumni Madison Gant ('21) for making the Presidents List as a Freshman at Merrimack College. Madison is in their honors program double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. As a Freshman, she has been deeply involved in her college experience. In addition to her achievements, she is the Development Chair of Women in STEM, Secretary of Robotics, E-Board of Cross-Country/Track Club, Steel Bridge Club, Nominated for Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Society), and Nominated for Peer Wellness Mentor.
MBCA was the best decision my parents and I could have made. From middle school to high school, I was challenged academically, spiritually, and socially. Thanks to the small environment at MBCA, with teachers that were completely invested in my growth academically, spiritually, and emotionally, I am thriving at Merrimack College in their honors program double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Because of the unique environment at MBCA, I learned how to navigate a difficult roommate situation, advocate for myself with professors, and stand strong as a southerner and a Christian.
I am so grateful for all that my teachers did for me at MBCA. Because of their love and knowledge, I am excelling. I received a 100 in Calculus and a 99 in Chemistry, the highest grades in all of those classes for fall semester. I was able to apply my AP credit in Calculus as a free elective to assist in double majoring, and it allowed me an opportunity to further build my knowledge in Calculus which was obviously very strong! My hope is that all of you get the opportunity to experience MBCA like I did and appreciate the amazing gift it is. By the way, for those of you who think out of the box, you are not alone. Embrace your differences, accept your gift, and persevere!! God Bless all of you!
