Beautiful Day at Fox Creek

Eagle Middle School golfers met a very strong and deep Mt. Paran golf squad on Monday at Fox Creek. Eight of our golfers were able to play the round. The top six were included in the competition, with the top 4 scores counted for the match. Par for the front 9 at Fox Creek is 32 and the 4 top scorers for Mt. Paran totaled 6 over par, the medalist had a one under par 31 (and he was their #5 golfer for the day).

Our golfers scores were:

Connor - 40

Elliott - 42

Ryan - 47

Knox - 47

Luke - 48

Erik - 49

Harrison - 49

Colin - 54

Considering they are 6th graders and Elliott had never played Fox Creek prior to yesterday, Conner and Elliott had excellent scores. Everyone finished with what I had encouraged at the beginning of the day - smiles on their faces, having had an enjoyable afternoon.

I'm thankful for all the parents and grandparents that were able to attend. They too showed wonderful attitudes and it was great to have them encouraging our golfers all the way around the course.

Thursday we return to the range and the chipping/putting green to continue working on mechanics and specific issues.

US 101 - Rescheduled Sep 5th

We have an important update regarding our upcoming US 101 – Upper School & Beyond event. Originally planned for this Friday, the day before the long weekend, we’ve received feedback that many of you may be traveling and unable to attend.

In an effort to respect your time and give all of our families the opportunity to participate, we are rescheduling US 101 to take place as part of our Upper School Open House on Friday, September 5. Rather than holding two separate events on different dates, we have decided that integrating Upper School 101 with our Open House will allow us to be mindful of your time while still providing the most comprehensive picture of the Upper School journey. This will allow you to hear directly from our high school students and recent graduates, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the Upper School experience and beyond.

We will be sending additional details soon regarding the Open House schedule and how US 101 will be included in the itinerary. For now, we encourage you to mark 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 on your calendar. If you already plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link, and additional details will follow in another email. We look forward to seeing you there!
