In a hard-fought game, the Eagles lost their season opener to the Walker Wolverines 10-5.  Overall the coaches were happy with the how the young men played, with most of the team playing in the first lacrosse game.  6th grader Beckham Fife led the scoring effort with goals in the first and third quarters, with new player Ryan Trent and Beau Leslie each scoring one in the second and fourth quarters, respectively.  Team Co-Captain Isaac Kim rounded out the scoring with a coast-to-coast goal in the third quarter of play.  Other standout performances came from Co-Captain Knox Walstad and Goalie Luca Quinterno in his lacrosse debut who had several phenomenal saves, including his first shot on goal ever.
The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, 3/4, at Mount Paran with a 5:30pm faceoff.
