Clay Owens

Clay Owens is the husband to Holly Owens, father to Amelia (5th) and Mackenzie (3rd), and part of the Mt. Bethel family since 2019. He grew up in Augusta, GA and attended a small Christian K-12 private school for all 13 years. He recognizes the importance of a Christ-centered education and believes in the MBCA mission and vision for growth. A successful athletics program is a key component to school recognition and development, and Clay is excited to be raising his daughters during this new era for MBCA. 

Clay earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Kennesaw State University and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Emory University. Holly & Clay are small business owners and reside in Marietta. The Owens family enjoys spending time outdoors together riding bikes, playing with their dogs Bosco and Lorenzo, swimming, and coaching/volunteering at youth recreational sports leagues in Marietta.
