Treadwell Leads Eagles Past Whitefield

The Mt. Bethel Middle School softball team defeated Whitefield Academy 9-0 on Monday. Audrey Treadwell led the way throwing a one-hitter, while also driving in five runs. Treadwell threw five strong innings, allowing one hit, one walk, and striking out 11. Offensively, she finished 2-for-3 with a grand slam to end the game.

Ryan Ross finished 3-for-3, with two runs scored and a RBI. One of Ross's runs came on a daring tag up on a pop fly to the first baseman.

Jocie Hanover also had two hits and a run scored.
