Mt Bethel wins in the first round of the GHSA State Tournament in convincing fashion
Mt Bethel came out playing determined basketball lead by Cadien Hudson who scored a school record 43 points in the game. In addition, junior Leo Wilkens hit some big shots while playing solid defense all night. Senior Dennis Esemuede chipped in 12 points and was strong around the basket all night. Finally, Roman Avery made a championship play by getting on the floor and securing the loose ball and then driving it down the court for a tough lay up shot. Senior Nate Robinson did not score on the offensive end, but he did do a good job against their top scorer on the defensive end. A great team win! ON TO THE SWEET 16!
