Library

Our library supports and enhances the curriculum of Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in so many ways.
Lower School visits the library weekly to hear a story showcasing a variety of genres of literature and check out new reading material. Instruction on the use of the library for research and special projects is also provided.

The library collection consists of more than 17,000 books which are catalogued online. Additionally, MBCA subscribes to several online databases to enhance the study and research efforts of our students. Throughout the year, the library welcomes published authors to campus to host workshops and to share their works and experiences with our students.

The library conducts an annual Book Fair, with proceeds benefiting the continuous expansion of the library to meet the needs of our students and teachers. Often, Canine Assistants volunteers visit with service dogs, giving students an opportunity to practice reading out loud.

Parents have regular opportunities to volunteer in the library, and are an essential part of the success of the Book Fair and daily operations. As always, the main goal in the library is to encourage students to become lifelong readers. We believe if you can read, you can do anything!
