Mt. Bethel wins in defensive battle against Region opponent Paideia

Despite fighting some sickness, Mt Bethel came out and played some really good defense against a good Paideia team. The first half was a defensive battle with the score at half time being 25 - 18 Mt Bethel. The 3rd quarter saw a little more offensive from Paideia scoring 15 pts in the 3rd quarter but Mt Bethel still held the lead 36 - 33. In the 4th quarter with about 4 minutes left, Mt Bethel really turned it on making some great players around the basket and some great passing. Four players finished with double figures.  Junior Roman Avery finished with a game high 16 pts, freshman Cadien Hudson scored 13 pts and grabbed 4 rebounds, Peter Julius chipped in 11 points and brought down 10 rebounds, and Senior point guard, Nate Robinson scored 10 pts, dished 5 assists and had 3 steals. Your Eagles improve to 6 - 2 overall and 2 - 1 in the Region. Our next game is this Friday against Fellowships at HOME. It is the HOOPS FOR HOPE GAME! Hope to see you on the HARDWOOD!
