Mt Bethel falls to 2 Time State Champions Ridge View out of South Carolina

Mt Bethel played in the first round of the 1st Annual Arby's Classic in Bristol VA against a top ranked team in the country, Ridge View. Ridge View features 4 Division players and are the returning 2 time State Champs in 6 A classification in South Carolina. Despite the top opponent, your Mt Bethel Eagles played tough and well. Behind the duo of Junior Roman Avery and Sophomore Peter Julius, the Eagles were playing toe to toe with Ridge view. At half time the score was 33 - 28 and Roman and Peter combined for 21 pts at half. The dynamic duo finished with 45 points combined and Peter grabbed 11 rebounds and Roman had 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, Freshman, Cadien Hudson chipped in 7 points and had 4 rebounds. Alex Kuimjian came off the bench and gave us a great lift knocking down a tough floater and mid range shot. In the end, we came up short, but gained a tremendous amount of respect around the Bristol area.
