Mt Bethel plays tough on the road to defeat Mount Pisgah
Your Mt Bethel Eagles came out strong against Region opponent Mount Pisgah jumping on them 25 - 8 in the first quarter and never looking back. Great team effort with everyone contributing in the game. 9 players scored and the Eagles were led by Roman Avery and Peter Julius each with 20 points and Cadien Hudson added 16 points along with 5 assists and 7 rebounds. Nate Robinson played terrific defense on the best player for Pisgah holding him to 5 points and causing 4 turnovers. Dennise Esemuede did a good as well defensively and controlling the boards. Alex Kuimjian, Asher Adams and Alex Hedden all played a solid floor game on both ends. Liam McTeer and Justin Lamisere did a nice job controlling the offense and playing solid defense. Peter McDaniel came in a gave us a nice lift off the bench as well. Finally, Leo Wilkens who has been hurt all season got his first varsity minutes and he took advantage of it playing well and making his first shot of the year which was a 3 pointer.
