Mt Bethel wins 5th game in a row

Mt Bethel came out on all cylinders from the start going on a 11 - 2 run to start the game and never looking back. Our defense was terrific holding Weber to 21 first half points. Nate Robinson lead the defensive side of things by defending one of Weber's best players and limiting him to zero points for the night. Offensively it was raining threes with 10 threes made as a team by 5 different players. Roman Avery scored 18 points while Peter Julius had a dominate game scoring 28 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Dennis Esemuede chipped in 12 points and had 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Justin Lamisere knocked down 3 three pointers and played solid on the defensive side of the ball. Liam McTeer ran the offense and found open guys for good shots. Peter McDaniel hit two threes and made some good plays as well on both ends of the floor. Asher Adams got his first start of his career and Leo Wilkens is recovering from an injury and gave us a nice lift off the bench for 5 points in about 2 minutes of play. Good team win as we improve to 13- 5 overall and 8 - 1 in the Region. Next up is SENIOR NIGHT against Wesleyan Friday January 23rd at 7:30pm.
