Q: Where did you attend college?
A: B.A. in Communication from Mercer University, M.Ed. in Sports Management/Marketing from the University of Arkansas

What year did you join MBCA?
A: 2019

What do you love about MBCA?
A: Watching God work in and through our students and staff.

What is your all-time favorite sports team?
A: Atlanta Braves

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
A: Colossians 1:9-14. It's impossible to pick one verse. The Bible is filled with way too much to strip it down to one. The message here in Colossians is a great summary of our calling. Paul gives us a roadmap to the importance of faith. It is something we must protect, polish, and proclaim with joy at all costs. In doing this, we understand the full magnitude of Grace in our life so we can use the gifts God has bestowed to us to lead others to him.

What are three fun facts about yourself?
A: Performed with the Tonight Show Band while I was in high school.
I've never traveled on a cruise ship or a train.
I believe a hot dog is NOT a sandwich.

What is your favorite book?
A: The Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.

  • US 101 - Rescheduled Sep 5th

We have an important update regarding our upcoming US 101 – Upper School & Beyond event. Originally planned for this Friday, the day before the long weekend, we’ve received feedback that many of you may be traveling and unable to attend.

In an effort to respect your time and give all of our families the opportunity to participate, we are rescheduling US 101 to take place as part of our Upper School Open House on Friday, September 5. Rather than holding two separate events on different dates, we have decided that integrating Upper School 101 with our Open House will allow us to be mindful of your time while still providing the most comprehensive picture of the Upper School journey. This will allow you to hear directly from our high school students and recent graduates, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the Upper School experience and beyond.

We will be sending additional details soon regarding the Open House schedule and how US 101 will be included in the itinerary. For now, we encourage you to mark 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 on your calendar. If you already plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link, and additional details will follow in another email. We look forward to seeing you there!
