“You all have changed my son’s life forever, and I will forever be grateful!” said a teary-eyed dad at the Commencement reception, as mom grinned broadly -- both because her husband was more emotional than her, and because she was filled with a genuine joy at the significance of the moment. Getting their son into a tier-one college was a huge success, and getting scholarship dollars to do so was a blessing, but knowing that their son had become a young man of character, someone who is seeking God’s best no matter where he goes in life, that is something with eternal significance that touches the heart.
These moments are a reminder of why we’re here: a Christ-centered education makes a difference! Through the challenges and victories, the hard work and fun, our teachers are more than instructors, they are mentors who care and guide. Committed to our noble mission, they foster academic success and spiritual growth, preparing students for college, life, and beyond.
So, it’s a wrap – and here’s to the many successes of the year! Please keep your eyes on your inbox through the summer, as we give you updates on the Building Up Campaign, academic initiatives, new programs, and more exciting updates as our team prepares for the year to come. But first, I pray you enjoy some time with family, some time away from the daily responsibilities, some time to rest and enjoy the summer!
Parents vs. Coaches Game, Winter Sports Kick-off, and Bruce Crevier highlight the event on Thursday, October 30, at 6:00 p.m., at the CAC on the Lower & Middle Schools Campus.
