Varsity Girls Defeat Lovett, 40-38

Tough defense helps push the Eagles to 2-0 on the season.
Sophomore Gbayito Oluwatomisin's game-highs of 11 points, 10 rebounds, and seven steals helped lead Mt. Bethel Christian Academy to a, 40-38, road victory versus The Lovett School on Tuesday.

Freshman Hannah Kenny also added 11 points and three steals, including the game-winning basket and the game-clinching steal. Junior Annie Dinschel scored nine points. Freshman Ella McDaniel scored seven points and dished out three assists and Junior Nancy Claire Parsons chipped in two points and collected three assists to round out the stat line for the Eagles in the win.

The Eagles will look to move to 3-0 on the season as they travel to Lilburn to face Providence Christian on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
