Where did you attend college?
A: I have a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

What year did you join MBCA?
A: 2025

What do you love about MBCA?
A: After being a parent and volunteer for the past 16 years, I would feel strange not being a part of the MBCA community. I am so excited to be a part of the staff this year! I am thrilled to get to see the awesome students and amazing staff each day.

What is your all-time favorite sports team?
A: Georgia Bulldogs

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
A: Exodus 14:14: "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent." - I love this verse because I need to rely on His strength no matter what I face.

Psalm 19:14: "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer." - This is my prayer every day. Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Mark 9:24b: "I believe; help my unbelief!" - My prayer for my fickle heart daily.

Matthew 10:19-20: "When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." - This verse is a huge comfort to me knowing that God will be there with me anytime I am relying on Him to give me what I need in the moment.

What are three fun facts about yourself?
A: I "met" my husband in 1997 at work, but after we got to know each other we realized we actually first met when I was in third grade at Taco Bell.

My first daughter was born on my second wedding anniversary.

For the last 25 years, I have lived less than two miles from the house I lived in when I was born. I lived nine places in between.

What is your favorite book?
A: I have more than one...
The Insanity of God by Nik Ripken, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, and The Last Jihad series by Joel Rosenberg
